What is now Stratford Court Playing Field is left of lower centre, with the formal garden visible in the north-west corner. Some parch marks are visible in the field.

An aerial  thermogram which overlaps with the image above. The thermal delineation appears to be the result of differential drying, a component of which is transpiration, following a light shower of rain earlier in the day.

There was no visible parching on the day.
