Armadale Walks Hardhill Wood which has views to the Bathgate Hills, and cairns created by Scottish Scouts to mark the Millennium. From A89 turn into Speedway car park, access via gateway. Hardhill Community Woodland & Bathville Junction a popular 'health walk', has woodlands and ponds. At main junction in Armadale (A89/B8084), turn onto South St (B8084), right at Bowling Club sign, your entrance is on right. |

The Hillend Loch railway path is a 14 mile, mainly traffic-free, wheelchair-accessible, section of Millennium Route 75, from Drumgelloch Station, Airdrie, through Plains, Caldercruix, Blackridge, skirting Armadale, to a point near the current Bathgate Railway Station. |
