Members of the
Edinburgh Archaeological Field Society continue
their efforts to survey two local sites, both of which
have appeared on maps as the location of the
castle of the
Barony
of Ogilface. The volunteers
must be thanked for their continuing efforts and for
giving their spare time so generously to this project. Did you take part in Armadale Academy's archaeological dig at Woodend in the late 1960s? If so, Rosie would love to hear your memories of that event. Have you found any historic artefacts near these sites or along Barbauchlaw Glen which look interesting? |
