A message from Kevin Ferguson, Sports Development Assistant,
Armadale Community Sport Hub. |
Hello,
I write to introduce myself and the
post I have been appointed in Armadale Academy working as part of the
Community Sport Hub. The role of a Sports Development Assistant
enables one to support diverse sports clubs, communities and schools
towards:
-
Widening Sport Opportunities,
-
Increasing Awareness and Participation,
-
Developing Player Potential, and
-
Developing Pathways for Individual Success.
I
and my job share Dean Paterson will liaise with all clubs connected to
the Community Sport Hub, and will support and supply developments for
everyone. We treasure everyone’s thoughts and look to introduce
specific dates and times which provide all with a focal area to
express concerns, developments and opportunities. We believe that it
is beneficial for us all to work collectively within a welcoming and
friendly environment to enable us towards continuing in the direction
of club and community sporting success.
